As it may take several days (1-3 days) for the verification/KYC process and activate your Xendit Account, there are some actions that you can and can't do while waiting for the activation process to be done. 

Below is the summary of the doable and undoable actions while waiting for the KYC process:

1. Generate API Key in Test Mode

   • You can generate a Test Mode Secret API key to start integrating with your system to start making Test transactions using API
   • You can refer to this documentation for generating the API Key
     
     

2. Simulate payments using the Test API key*

   • With API Key created in the dashboard, you can make payment simulations on Test Mode via Postman
   • You can refer to our API Reference and the available Postman Collection to make your own payment simulation
     
     

3. Simulate transactions via Invoice/Payment Link*

   • The Invoice/Payment Link tab will be available for you to test making an Invoice and simulate payment for it
   • You can go to the menu Payment Link > Create Payment Link > customize the Payment Link to your liking
   • Afterward, you can do a payment simulation right from the webpage
   • The simulated payment will then show on your Dashboard
     
     

4. Simulate Single Disbursement or Batch Disbursement*

   • You can create test Batch Disbursement transactions from your Dashboard to understand better the Disbursement Flow

5. Create Payout from Payout Tab*

   • You can create test Payout transactions from your Dashboard to understand better on the Payout Flow

6. Download the Report of your testing transactions from the Balance or Transactions Tab

   • All the test transactions will be available for you to review on your Balance or Transactions Tab, you also able to reconcile by exporting the transaction into your preferred format for easier processing

Note: All transactions/simulations made in Development/Test Mode are for testing purposes and will never hit the bank networks.

Additional Information:

• In the Xendit onboarding flow, there is a possibility your account is eligible for Instant Activation and is able to conduct actions that aren't allowed while in test mode
• The instant activation feature will make the account Live promptly after registration steps and able to receive payment, however, it's applied to a very limited account only
