Starting 1 January 2026, all GoPay transactions can only be completed through the GoPay app. GoPay payments via the Gojek app will no longer be supported. This change ensures a more focused and consistent payment experience for GoPay users.
With this update, end users will no longer be redirected to the Gojek app when making a GoPay payment. To continue completing transactions successfully, end users must have the GoPay app installed on their device and use it to authorize and complete payments.
What Should You Do Next?
If you notice that end users are no longer redirected to the Gojek app during payment, this is expected behavior.
Please advise end users to:
Download the GoPay app from the Play Store or App Store
Retry the payment using the GoPay app
Once the GoPay app is installed, transactions should proceed normally.
