We can inform you that most banks do not support us with the endpoint to track the money movement, so it’s not possible for Xendit to confirm the completed money movement, Then, we have no visibility whether when the money settles completely to the end-user.
But, as an identifier that we already pass through the refund request from a merchant to the acquirer, we can support you with Refund Proof. This refund proof can download by yourself inside the dashboard.
On your dashboard you can open the Cards tab > Refund > Search by Refund ID > Go to detail page > then you can simply download refund proof.
After you download the refund proof, you can share this with to end-user and the end-user can track the refund to their issuing bank.
But, sometimes issuing banks look for RRN to track the refund status. If there's a case where you can't find the RRN on your dashboard, please let us know by email at help@xendit.co or contact us via Live Chat. We will help to provide you manually.
