The dynamic VA naming feature allows merchants to set a custom name for a Virtual Account using the display_name parameter in the API request.

Due to updates on our Terms & Conditions and for risk mitigation purposes, starting from 26 August 2025, we will deactivate the dynamic VA naming feature for ID Sole Prop merchants.

• For merchants where this feature is disabled, the system ignores the display_name parameter provided in the API request. Instead, the VA name automatically defaults to the merchant's registered business name. 
• All new VAs created from 23 August 2025 will have the name following the merchant's business name.
• Virtual Accounts created prior to the deactivation will remain fully operational, and no modifications will be applied to those existing accounts.
• Changes will impact new ID Sole Prop merchants automatically starting 23 August 2025.

Next Steps

• For Sole Proprietorship accounts, the Dynamic VA Naming feature is generally not enabled due to security considerations.
