In South East Asian countries, most issuing banks prefer to accept 3DS / authenticated transactions coming from a DEBIT card. 

Therefore, we highly encourage merchants to perform 3DS for online cards transaction using a DEBIT card. 

The same limitation also applies for recurring / autodebit cards transactions, given that for a recurring payment, the second payment onwards will not go through a 3DS process, the decline rate for a DEBIT cards recurring transaction is expected to be high. 

• As a workaround, kindly advise your customer to initiate a recurring payment using a CREDIT card instead.
