First of all, please make sure that you already set up a checkout notification in your Xendit Dashboard: https://dashboard.xendit.co/settings/checkout.
Second, please be aware that Shopify has a limitation where it can only send notification to just one channel, either email or phone number.
You may check the configuration in Shopify by going to Shopify Dashboard > Settings > Checkout > Customer Contact Method. There are 2 options:
- First option: Phone number or email: Shopify will provide field to collect either user's phone number OR email (only 1)
- Second option: Email: Shopify will provide field to only collect email
The related field can be found in the upper part in Shopify checkout page, under Contact. Please be noted that Xendit will only retrieve data to determine notification channel in this field. If you have additional fields that collect, for example, phone number, Xendit will not collect that data for sending notification purpose.
