If you're having trouble uploading your Withholding Tax (WHT) Slip on the Xendit Dashboard, there are specific conditions that must be met before the system allows you to upload your WHT Slip. This article will help you troubleshoot common issues and guide you through the process.
Also to note, you need to submit your Withholding Tax Slip (WHT Slip) Article 23 no later than two months after the invoice payment date.
Scenario A: You Haven’t Paid Your Bills
You might see the Upload Withholding Tax button is greyed out & unclickable, like this:
One of the most common reasons why the "Upload Withholding Tax" button is greyed out is because the bill for the month hasn’t been paid yet.
What to do:
- Pay Your Bills First: The system will only allow you to upload your WHT Slip after the bill for that month has been settled.
- Remember that you need to submit your Withholding Tax Slip (WHT Slip) Article 23 no later than two months after the invoice payment date.
Once you've paid your bills, the "Upload Withholding Tax" button will be activated, and you can proceed with uploading your WHT Slip.
Scenario B: You receive "We Failed to Verify Your Document"
If you’ve paid your bills but still can’t upload your Withholding Tax Slip, check the following:
- File Format and Size:
- The WHT Slip must be in PDF format.
- Ensure the file size does not exceed 1 MB.
- Document Authenticity:
- The WHT Slip should be the original document downloaded from the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) website.
- Do not use a scanned or printed version of the document.
- Correct Month Selection:
- Double-check that you are uploading the WHT Slip for the correct month.
- Do not combine WHT Slips from different months into one upload.
- Accuracy of Information:
- Ensure that the total tax base is accurate and aligns with the subtotal amount on the billing and tax invoice.
