How Do I Activate DANA as Payment Method?
To activate DANA as a payment method, you may directly activate it from your Xendit Dashboard. Please see the following steps:
- Sign up for a Xendit account and follow our KYC instructions.
- Sign into Xendit dashboard then activate eWallets. Go to menu "configuration" > "payment methods" > choose "eWallets" > "DANA" click "activate"
- Complete the form on the following pages and click send
- Within 1 business day, we will send your documents and information to DANA, or we will get back to you to collect any extra information.
- DANA will process your application in 5 working days.
- After DANA approves, we will send you an email to let you know that the activation has been successful.
- You are ready to go! You can now create live eWallet payments through API requests.
Updates Effective February 5, 2025
Effective February 5, 2025, DANA has updated its onboarding requirements, adding new mandatory fields such as:
- Longitude & Latitude
- Website Screenshot
- NPWP Address
To avoid system burden and SLA spikes, Xendit will stop DANA instant activation on the dashboard. New merchants will no longer have access to submit to DANA.
Moving forward:
- DANA e-wallet onboarding will only be available for VIP merchants with AM/SR and CPS.
- DANA QRIS will be allocated to QRIS Xendit for new submission (please expect more QRIS transaction checking from Xendit’s acquirer in the future, and please familiarize with further details provided in the announcement here).
Next Steps
- If a VIP merchant inquires, escalate this to !subteam^S060U6LB1R9, they will collaborate with MO (SOP is under discussion).
- If a self-serve merchant inquires, inform them that DANA onboarding is no longer available until further notice.
