Yes, Xendit can help you to charge foreign cards or international payments regardless of the currency as long as the charge made through Credit Cards.
However, after the settlement, you will receive the funds in local currency following the exchange rates based on the forex conversion rate from customer's issuing bank.
For Indonesian Merchants
Xendit is only able to settle a cards transaction in IDR as per Bank Indonesia’s regulation. However, worry not, you can still show the amount of payment in USD via our payment links settings by following our documentation below:
For example, if the conversion rate of USD 1 = IDR 15,000.
- If you want to charge IDR 15,000 to your customer, the cardholder statement should get close to charging $1, but it could still come out to $0.98 or $1.02 depending on other factors set by the issuing bank (following forex conversion rate).
- The settlement on your Xendit Dashboard will still be IDR 15,000.

For Philippines Merchants
Yes, we can help you to accept payments in PHP and/or USD only as long as the payment has been made through Cards.
Xendit can also support you to accept other currencies (aside from PHP and USD). However, the card will be charged and settled in PHP / USD, the cardholder’s statement will display the transaction amount in their local currency with exchange rates based on the forex rate and the usual fees applied from their issuing bank.
