For Direct (API) and Batch Disbursements/Payouts, this issue may occur for various reasons, such as downtime in the bank network.
Please be aware that most transfers will be completed within the expected time. However, there are a few reasons that might cause a delay:
- We can only transfer your money once we receive the final status from the receiving bank. Delays may occur due to scheduled or unexpected bank downtimes.
- We will attempt to process the disbursement once the banks are operational again.
- In rare cases of bank downtime, the status of the disbursement can only be confirmed on the following business day.
- The transfer may be delayed due to issues related to the switching network or internal processing at the recipient bank. If the final status is not provided by the recipient’s bank, Xendit will not be able to provide a final status either, which can prolong the PENDING or DISBURSING status of the disbursement.
- Reconciliation might be required on the next banking day for the status to be identified.
You can track the status of the batch and its disbursements via your Dashboard. Once the disbursement is complete, our system will automatically update the status on the Dashboard.
