Here are some simple steps you can take to get started with accepting credit card payments using Xendit.
Registration
- Register with us and create a Xendit Dashboard account. You can refer to our registration page for more information
- If you are a first-time user of Xendit, click on "Continue your activation" on the upside bar to start activating your account
- Go through the activation process - this will take around 10 minutes for you to provide us with details about your business and legal documentation requirements. You can refer to our activation & document requirements page for more information
- Our related team will conduct KYC (Know Your Client) checks or verification processes to decide whether your account is able to onboard with Xendit.
- After you have submitted your activation application and passed KYC, a Sales Representative will get in touch to sort out some paperwork (service agreements are necessary for online payments). For some businesses, service agreement signing (e-consent) can be done directly through the Xendit Dashboard in the final stage of activation, without the need for contact with our sales representatives.
- Upon execution of the agreement and KYC passed you can go live with us and start accepting real money through online payments!
- Once your account goes live, you can do Credit Card self-serve activation via the Payment Methods page in your dashboard
- Log in to your dashboard. Go to Dashboard > Configuration > Payment Channels > Activate Payment Channel
- Click the 'Cards' on the payment channels you like to activate.
- Please complete the form activation. At this stage, you have the option to select the type of currency for the credit card transaction and indicate whether you require recurring payments using the credit card.
- After you submit the form, our team will receive your request.
- Within 3-10 working days, we will send you an email notification regarding any additional information or documents required. Alternatively, we will inform you of the final activation result, whether it has been approved or rejected.
- SLA processing for the CC activation with PHP currency is 3 working days & USD currency is 10 working days

Once the account goes live, there is a possibility that you may not be able to activate the credit card channel:
- Kindly note that certain limitations imposed by our bank partner may prevent certain merchants from obtaining credit card facilities based on the nature of their business.
- Besides, this activation flow only accommodates merchants with business entity types (Corporations, Partnerships). For use cases for another business type please reach out to our agent help@xendit.ph
How to check your Card activation status?
Once the activation SLA has passed, PHP (3 WD) & USD (10 WD), then check directly into your dashboard:
- Log in to your dashboard
- Go to page Payment Channels and see the Cards activation section
- If there is a green button 'Activated' means the channel is successfully activated
- If the status is still 'Disabled' or 'Pending since ...", you may reach help@xendit.ph to check further.
