eWallet tokenization is when your customer/end user links their eWallet account, hence upon checking out on your platform, they can see their eWallet balance and proceed to pay only by inputting PIN and/or without PIN (auto debit).
eWallet tokenization is only available for merchants who are a business entity and/or sole proprietorship (for PH merchants).
Tokenization for eWallet has 2 types, here are the differences and flow of each type:
- With PIN/Redirection flow
- Without PIN/Auto Debit flow
eWallet tokenization is available for your Xendit account on:
- Test/Sandbox/Development Mode: auto-activated, can be used via API without activation
- Live/Production Mode: need to request to CS on help@xendit/co and/or your Sales/Account Manager
